Job Title : Windows & VMware System Administrator
Job Type : W2/C2C/1099

Location : Oklahoma
We are looking for a Windows & VMware System Administrator who will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The role requires a strong understanding of Windows Server environments and expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix.
Responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience in system administration, specifically in Windows Server and VMware environments.
- Experience in backup and recovery solutions for virtual servers.
- Experience with backup technologies and remote access tools.
- Experience with Citrix virtualization technologies.
- Experience with SCCM for inventory management, software distribution, and patch management.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, and Citrix virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
- Familiarity with hardware platforms such as HP, Dell, and IBM.
- Knowledge of networking services like DNS, WINS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with high availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) environments.
- Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
- Management and administration of VMware ESX and vSphere environments, including P2V migrations, VMotion, and VMware Virtual Center.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
- Hands-on command-line experience with ESX for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Backup and recovery of virtual machines and virtual servers.
- Administration and troubleshooting of Windows servers (2012/2016/2019), including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, and ISA Proxy Server.
- Deployment and configuration of Domain Controllers, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
- Knowledge of Windows security technologies such as Kerberos authentication, PKI, and AD Proxy.
- Installation and administration of Windows Clusters and HA environments.
- Management of server resources, performance tuning of VMware servers, and virtual session management.
- Working in a 24x7 global environment, ensuring server and network equipment racking and stacking.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
