Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our team at CyberAlliance. The ideal candidate will lead projects involving advanced cybersecurity solutions, manage complex security architectures, and ensure the protection of our clients' digital assets. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, excellent project management skills, and a proactive approach to threat mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage security projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for diverse client environments.
- Threat Analysis: Conduct thorough threat analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery from cybersecurity incidents.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, PCI DSS, CTPAT, and other relevant frameworks.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, and continuously improve security practices and solutions.
- Vulnerability Management: Develop and implement comprehensive vulnerability management programs to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Consulting: Provide expert consulting services to clients on a range of cybersecurity topics, offering strategic guidance and actionable recommendations.
- Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing: Conduct and support comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and potential threats.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security operations, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing results, incident response actions, and overall security posture recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security engineering and project management.
- International experience a plus!
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, encryption technologies, and vulnerability scanners.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managed security services and continuous penetration testing.
- Familiarity with cloud security, network security, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale security projects.
