Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our Test Data & Environments team. As a Business Analyst, you will work on a talented cross-functional team of engineers, DBAs and subject matter experts in an agile methodology to advance our servicing capabilities for our clients, field and home office. You will participate in strategic and transformational efforts impacting these servicing capabilities to deliver critical business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Help to reduce risks in regard to cybersecurity transformation program, multi-year, enterprise-wide
- Business Expertise: Partner with peer group, tech partners and product management to learn business area/domain, while continuing to learn and grow knowledge across the enterprise
- Author User Stories and Features: Author user stories and features independently with low to medium complexity while participating in some task-based work in higher complexity situations
- Gather Requirements: Responsible for fact-based requirement gathering, including all system, technical and intake requests
- Responsible for refining teams backlog and prioritizing work in alignment with the projects deliverables
- Reviews & edits files (columns, fields, etc.) for PII data, validating with SMEs
- Partner closely to prioritize work for Database Administrators (DBAs)
- Troubleshoot software bugs while providing guidance and acceptance criteria to agile team
- Collaborates with requesting SMEs for UAT and sign off
- Partner closely with engineers and other teams (face of the internal clients)
- Take initiative – structure, organize, identify gaps, put together a plan
Qualifications:
- Typically 8+ years of experience in the role.
- Must have experience working with C Suite officers, must be polished and very professional
- Must be advanced in Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence tools
- Must have experience leading an agile scrum team and executing agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, mid-sprint review, demos, etc)
- Creating stories & requirements for an agile team
- Experience conducting PI Planning sessions
- Experience working in Jira and Confluence
- Leading an agile scrum team
- Prioritizing agile backlog
- Needs to be available during core CST business hours
Nice To Have
- Experience in data security or remediation/masking
