Job Summary
Raya Workforce is seeking a highly motivated Network Field Technician to join our dynamic team on a
1099/W2 contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of network infrastructure, customer equipment, and customer installations. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of network services and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities - Install, Maintain, and Repair Network Infrastructure:
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Initially activate electronics by powering up the equipment and loading configurations from Engineering work packages.
- Handle customer internet installations and repairs with precision and efficiency.
- Customer Installations and Repair:
- Conduct installations and repairs for customer network systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues that arise during or after installations.
- Safety Compliance:
- Comply with all safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and sort equipment needed for work orders, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the engineering and support teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of network projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding and resolution of any issues.
Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or related experience in network installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing network infrastructure and customer equipment.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients throughout the organization.
- Strong collaborative skills to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid local State Driver's License and a clean driving record to facilitate travel to client sites and job locations.
- Competitive compensation on a 1099/W2 contract basis.
