Location: 100% Remote Texas/Oklahoma Area

Overview
The client is moving Datacenters from one location to another. Client is looking for a functional Network Engineer who can coordinate & ensure circuits that are being to be installed are turned up properly. (Project Management). Client is moving 10-15 circuits from Tulsa to Dallas. {coordination}
Requirements
- Must have 5 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space
- Should have professional networking certifications a plus - CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent with SME in : (Layer2/3 switching & advanced routing protocols including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS; and Layer 4 7 management)
- Data center networking
- BGP, IS-IS, VRFs and QoS
- MPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6)
- Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilities
- Highly available network architectures, failover, and redundant configurations
- Software-defined networking (design and traffic engineering
- Must have 7-10yrs telecom/Network migration & consolidation SME. Should have a variety of skills including:
- Being the Point of Contact for client for the carriers and vendors
- Validating & helping to ensure paperwork and LOA’s etc. are handled through client
- Coordinating schedules and resources for each circuits install and turn up
- Coordinate the answers for “demark extensions per circuit “ with H&clinet and the colo-facilty vendors
- Working with IT to help drive proper change controls and keeping client and carriers to the schedule as part of the overall project.
- Must have excellent communication skills, effectively interact with management, vendors and customers and should be able to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear straightforward manner
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams and must be flexible enough to deal with different technical skill levels and skill sets
- Ability to deal with concurrent problems and issues effectively. Proven ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
- Able to exercise sound technical judgment and discipline in the execution of network changes and deployment plans.
