Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior System Administrator at AvantOne. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with managing and maintaining the company's systems and infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing technical support to end-users, administering network systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's information technology infrastructure. This is a remote role.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in System Administration in open source based technologies such as Linux, Troubleshooting, and Technical Support for internal users.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure in AWS, or similar provider.
- Proven experience handling a large number of Linux servers, with Docker and Proxmox.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Information Technology
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications in system administration or network administration
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and technologies
