Summary
T2S Solutions is seeking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented, junior level
DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring processes. The Junior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases, automate workflows, and enhance the overall efficiency of our development and operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Work on automating provisioning and configuration management tasks
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and automated code deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment processes
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems
- Configure and manage log aggregation tools for effective troubleshooting and analysis
- Work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration
- Utilize Helm and Helmfile for packaging, managing, and deploying Kubernetes applications
- Participate in agile development processes and provide support as needed
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security best practices in the infrastructure and deployment processes
- Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
- Document configuration procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices
- Maintain up-to-date documentation integrity and accessibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 1-3+ years of directly related experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Strong understanding of software development and system administration
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
