Director of Corporate Security for a national corporation. The Director of Corporate Security will have full oversight and accountability of all asset protection and security initiatives and will need to take a leadership role to develop effective relationships with law enforcement officials to support the loss prevention and investigative initiatives.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position and is available IMMEDIATELY!
This position requires a minimum of 50% travel throughout the U.S.
This position can be based anywhere in the U.S as long as you are close to a major airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all company policies, local, state and federal laws are adhered to in the execution of internal and external theft investigations or inquiries
- Ensure overall compliance to company guidelines and internal audit readiness
- Respond to critical events that impact the organization
- Coordinate with law enforcement and other officials or agencies as needed
- Provide leadership and management in the planning and installation of all physical security components and technology to ensure installations meet all Security standards and budgets
- Develop and execute strategic physical security initiatives to reduce exposure to loss.
- Coordinate and execute the implementation of physical security to ensure standards are met
- Strong collaborator capable of effectively negotiating and influencing internal and external business partners
- Manage the Security finances for all projects, vendors and purchases
- Ensure all personnel are properly trained to corporate standards enabling them to effectively execute their responsibilities and utilize the physical security equipment and technology that is being deployed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field
- Combination of 7+ years in national law enforcement, military and private sector investigation
- Experience in collaborating with multiple departments on large scale initiatives and projects
- Strong management skills capable of leading and motivating a team of direct reports
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience with national CCTV and access control platforms
- Strong business acumen and organizational skills
