Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust AWS framework, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards, particularly those required for FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and other Federal government initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Apply DevSecOps principles to integrate security at every phase of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies relevant to FedRAMP and DoD RMF compliance.
- Automate security processes to ensure efficient and consistent application of security measures.
- Continuously monitor the AWS environment to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Provide guidance and support for cloud security best practices within the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies, especially those pertinent to federal government regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevSecOps role, with a focus on AWS.
- Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, especially those used for FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and other Federal government initiatives.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Certification Preferences:- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Any relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
