Job Purpose
This role is focused on delivering comprehensive operational support for Linux and Microsoft Windows systems and applications within a government-contracted setting. The individual will be responsible for managing both virtual and physical server infrastructures, ensuring system integrity, security, and performance across multiple environments, including AWS. The position requires strong collaboration with IT teams to optimize and integrate systems within a complex computing landscape.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FS Poly required.
- Strong experience with Redhat/CentOS, VMWare ESXi, AWS, Ansible, and version control systems like Git/Gitlab/Github.
- Demonstrated expertise in server automation, application management on AWS, and collaboration with cross-functional IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preference for Certified Linux System Adm
- inistrators; AWS and IT Security certifications (such as CISSP, GIAC, Security+) are advantageous.
Roles & Responsibilities
- System Support:Provide daily operational support for Linux (Redhat/CentOS) and Microsoft Windows systems and applications, ensuring seamless functionality and integration.
- Infrastructure Management:Manage and maintain virtual and physical infrastructures, including VMWare ESXi, AWS platforms, and various supporting applications.
- Security Monitoring:Oversee security measures, maintain system integrity, and ensure compliance with Continuous Monitoring protocols to keep systems secure.
- Automation & Scripting:Develop and use Ansible playbooks and other scripting tools to automate tasks like server builds, configuration management, and patching.
- Documentation & Testing:Produce detailed documentation, design testing strategies, and manage their execution, including the documentation of outcomes.
