Job Description: We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our team as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the company as well as managing daily operations, ensuring that our benefits platform is not only cutting-edge but also effectively aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership: Drive the technology strategy and execution for the benefits platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the company, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor engineering, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive work towards common objectives.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire development lifecycle of our benefits platform, from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the technical team and other departments to communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to position the company as a leader in benefits technology.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for technology and operational initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of managing software development and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, software engineering practices, and modern technology stacks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in HR technology/scaling a business or employee benefits platforms is highly desirable.
