Position Summary:
The Assignment Specialist position is responsible for oversight of the execution and recordation of assignment of mortgage documents on behalf of the Company. Ensures all required processes and procedures are followed, Selene’s system of record is notated and documentation is accurately and timely imaged
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepares assignment of mortgage documents for quality control review and execution
- Provides quality assurance reviews on assignments of mortgage for loans throughout the Company in various stages such as delinquency, active in foreclosure, bankruptcy, or loans that are pending transfer/sale
- Reviews documents to ensure they conform to state-specific requirements as well as document- specific check lists
- Communicates with preferred vendors, law firms, and other third parties regarding any needed document revisions prior to execution
- Follows-up with preferred vendors, law firms, and other third parties for receipt of recorded images and notate systems upon recordation
Education / Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least one year’s experience in Mortgage Servicing
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Fiserv preferred
