The Systems and Network Administrator provides advanced technical support and maintains all IT infrastructure systems. This role involves implementing, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient operations while handling administrative tasks to support overall IT infrastructure stability. The role also includes managing and supporting CCTV, digital signage, professional audio, and door access control across all locations.
- Install, configure, and deploy IT hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, servers, NVRs, cameras, networking equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, manage network devices (e.g., switches, routers, wireless access points), and ensure network security and connectivity.
- Manage hardware inventory, ensuring all devices are correctly tagged and documented.
- Assist with network configuration, including IP addressing, VLANs, and routing protocols, while adhering to security policies, standards, and protocols.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for systems, user applications, end-users, and networks, both onsite and remote.
- Manage and document user accounts, permissions, and access in systems like Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
- Maintain and support digital signage systems across all locations.
- Manage and support professional audio systems, including amplifiers, speakers, music players, and CCTV systems like NVRs and cameras.
- Basic assistance and support with setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting door access control systems.
- Participate in IT projects, including system deployments and network upgrades, while coordinating with IT vendors and SL staff.
- Contribute to process improvements, document systems, and procedures, and participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and best practices.
- Stay updated on IT trends and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and support capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 4-6 years of work experience in related fields is equivalent.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in system administration, networking, and IT hardware/software maintenance.
- Basic understanding of door access control systems, including hardware and software support.
- Preferred experience with digital signage and content management systems, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Preferred experience with professional audio systems, including maintaining amplifiers, speakers, and music players.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 basic user administration.
- Excellent customer service skills, including training and interacting effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
