Job Description
Full Circle is seeking an IT Administrator to maintain and improve our technology infrastructure, respond to help desk tickets, and provide onsite tech support. The position reports to the IT Director. Specific duties of the IT Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome OS, Slack, RingCentral, Konica Minolta copiers, Brother printers and scanners
- Conduct regular onsite visits to properties to provide IT support and ensure technology is functioning properly
- Maintain and support our technology infrastructure including hardware, software, SaaS platforms and network systems
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system integrity and security
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software
- Train and support staff in the use of technology tools and systems
- Collaborate with the IT Director to develop and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices
Qualifications And Skills
The ideal team member will blend passion, creativity, and technical experience to maintain seamless IT operations. They will work closely with the IT Director to successfully assist internal customers, complete projects and manage their work with a high degree of initiative and independence.
Candidates Must Have
- 3-5 years of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician, IT Administrator or similar role
- Educational background in information technology, computer science or a related field
- Experience administering Google Workspace, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome OS, Slack, Okta, Mimecast, SmartDeploy, Happyfox, NinjaOne, PrinterLogic, RingCentral or similar platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the Chicagoland area
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation
Strong Candidates Will Have
- More than 5 years of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or IT Administrator
- Experience working in a non-profit or housing sector
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of two to three days in the office or onsite at properties depending on need. Regular travel throughout Chicago and collar counties will be required along with occasional travel outside of Illinois.
This position requires the ability to lift and move computer equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. This is an hourly non-exempt position. The standard salary range for this position is $70,000- $90,000. Benefits include health, dental, vision, IRA, life and supplemental insurance, and more.
