Job Title: Jira Confluence SME (Must have Retail )

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Jira Confluence Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team and support the ongoing development of agile processes, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless integration of ticketing systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies, with the ability to design, build, and enhance project management workflows. Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or product-oriented environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary SME for Jira and Confluence, optimizing these platforms for agile project management.
- Build and enhance Confluence pages for application security, providing clear documentation and how-to guides for internal development teams.
- Design, build, and improve Jira workflows and ticketing systems, creating a better process for ticket management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (DTC, IT, InfoSec) to integrate Jira and Confluence processes across departments.
- Provide expert recommendations on Jira ticketing structures, fields, and workflows, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Assist in integrating Jira ticketing systems with other platforms such as CA Service Desk and Fresh service.
- Maintain and manage central repositories in Confluence and SharePoint for streamlined documentation sharing.
- Support ongoing agile initiatives (Scrum, Kanban), ensuring processes are well-documented and followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication between InfoSec, IT, and the business for agile execution.
- Offer expert guidance on how to improve existing processes and optimize platform utilization.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Jira and Confluence SME, with hands-on expertise in building and managing workflows.
- Proven experience in an agile environment (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), with a focus on Jira and Confluence administration.
- Strong understanding of project management and process optimization within Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in integrating Jira with other ticketing systems such as CA Service Desk and Fresh service.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite, MS Suite, and SharePoint.
- Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or OEM/product-oriented companies.
- Ability to manage and optimize complex workflows with multiple moving parts.
- Exposure to InfoSec and security processes is a plus.
