Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (Top Secret clearance preferred)
Location: Salk Lake City, UT
Duration: 1 year contract (potential renewal/extension)
Pay Rate: $88-98/hr. (Based on Experience)
Summary:
Verigent's client is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their growing team! Strongly prefer candidates that already have an active TS clearance, but will consider people who's clearance recently expired or just have Secret.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a Point of Contact who will serve as a project interface. He/she must have the authority to act on behalf of Customer with respect to the Services both technically and administratively.
- Coordinating and providing onsite access to the necessary systems with the appropriate security clearance.
- Making all hardware and software purchases necessary to complete the project.
- Procuring all necessary software and hardware maintenance contracts.
- Ensuring all data has been properly backed up prior to start of Services.
- Ensuring that all Customer provided equipment is on site and available prior to our arrival.
- Providing real time support to the engineer throughout the Services.
- Providing device location(s) prior to our arrival on site. To include Grid, Rack(s), and Elevation(s) as applicable.
Requirements:
- Current assessment of F5 configuration, recommendations.
- Development of Hybrid Cloud Architecture via AWS Gov Cloud.
- On-premises Viprion and F5 modernization effort.
- Connection of Hybrid Cloud and On-premises environments.
- SME level F5 Operations, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting activities.
- Certificate expiration monitoring: F5 environment and hosted system application levels.
