Security Analyst

Job Summary
Provide deep system and broad functional HCM, FIN, and P&T Security expertise, while administering technology solutions for targeted customer segments.
Provides leadership for security access in Workday for our HR, FIN, and P&T leaders, helping translate operational needs into technical priorities and solutions. Also answers complex security questions and leads relevant project activities.
What you'll do in this position:
- Serve as tier 3 support for escalated inquiries, testing and special projects that require deep technical expertise.
- Support the Security Architect in day-to-day activities to provide security access and security design within Workday.
- Proactively partner with colleges and divisions to understand access requirements and issues, analyze data, and suggest ways to leverage Workday to meet access needs.
- Gather security requirements to evaluate if new groups need to be proposed and created.
- Evaluate new security-related functionality for release management and provide testing support.
- Provide assistance with complex issue/configuration and support/enhancements:
- Defining Workday function-specific roles ¿ what roles have access to what functional Workday information and business processes (e.g., HR Partner, Compensation Partner, Finance Partner, etc.).
- Assigning Workday function-specific roles to the worker or position following process guidelines including appropriate approvals.
- Ensuring compliance with information security and compliance policies related to Workday role assignment.
- Provide oversight and guidance for all security-related configuration changes including role configuration and assignment.
- Assist with security training and awareness efforts.

Education/Experience
Required:
- Four-year college degree and at least 2 years of experience in business environments with emphasis on information technology, change control, business strategy, consulting, project management, process analysis and design, systems architecture, or equivalent combination of experience.
