Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Mobility Lead (Sr Adv IT Project Spec 1) to join our team. This pivotal role will enable you to contribute to the advancement of innovative technology that underpins critical defense and intelligence services. In this position, you will collaborate closely with esteemed clients to design mobile solutions that address intricate business challenges. Reporting to the IT Manager for Virtual and Mobility Services, you will partner with leading-edge technologists and business leaders to shape the future mobility strategy for our renowned technology firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize a comprehensive understanding of the mobility landscape to create a compelling vision for enhancing the organization’s mobile capabilities.
- Serve as a mobility advocate, promoting a “mobile-first” development mindset.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for mobile services and capabilities, translating customer needs into actionable product features.
- Engage with stakeholders across various levels to identify opportunities for mobile solutions and foster collaboration.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, serving as the voice of the customer.
- Collaborate with IT subject matter experts to enhance business delivery and drive employee engagement.
- Establish communication and training programs for the adoption of mobile services.
- Assess emerging trends and technologies relevant to the organization's mobile needs.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to identify mobile solutions that address business challenges.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and proven experience with Agile product teams.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in mobile-related applications such as Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices relevant to the defense industry.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Capacity to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience, alongside a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in documenting functional and technical requirements for mobile solutions.
- Strong background in change management principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of the mobile development lifecycle and cloud service integration in Microsoft Azure.
