Your Role: Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO)
In the capacity of vCIO, you will act as a trusted advisor for our clients, collaborating closely with their leadership teams to synchronize technology strategies with overarching business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in developing comprehensive Technology Success Plans, facilitating strategic dialogues, and ensuring the application of best practices to secure our clients' IT infrastructures. You will be instrumental in assisting clients to optimize their technological investments and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate meaningful relationships with client executives, offering strategic insights and guidance to harness technology for success.
- Lead Strategic Discussions: Coordinate and lead regular meetings with client leadership to share insights, strategic roadmaps, and budgetary recommendations that resonate with their goals.
- Develop Technology Success Plans: Design and uphold customized Technology Success Plans for each client, guaranteeing alignment between technology initiatives and business strategies.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: Proactively evaluate potential technology risks and implement measures to safeguard our clients’ operations.
- Implement Best Practices: Champion the adoption of technology standards to foster a cohesive and effective IT environment.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Maintain an awareness of emerging technologies and market trends to provide well-informed recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Experience: Over 5 years in IT leadership roles, preferably in a managed services context.
- Strategic Insight: Demonstrated capability in formulating IT strategies that stimulate growth and boost efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with vCIO platforms such as myITprocess and proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power BI, and Autotask.
- Consultative Approach: Proven experience in engaging directly with business leaders to steer strategic conversations and technology planning.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
