Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote helpdesk support while resolving technical challenges to ensure optimal user satisfaction.
- Monitor and promptly respond to IT helpdesk inquiries.
- Manage Service Desk tickets following priority guidelines to ensure efficient processing.
- Configure local workstations, utilities, and software settings as required.
- Maintain and utilize helpdesk tracking software effectively.
- Document internal processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and managing access removals in collaboration with HR.
- Ensure workstations are fully equipped with necessary hardware and software.
- Install, test, and configure new PCs and peripheral devices.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including equipment and software licenses.
- Report technical issues to the IT Manager/EMR Specialist for further escalation.
- Execute PC setup and deployment for new staff utilizing standard hardware and software.
- Organize users and computers within Active Directory appropriately.
- Conduct timely updates on hardware and software for workstations as needed.
- Collaborate with our IT partner as required.
- Attend the office for special projects when necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Active Directory.
- General networking knowledge with the ability to swiftly learn EMR systems.
- Capable of triaging IT tickets based on urgency with minimal supervision.
- Effective collaboration with key operational personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Qualifications
- An active Virginia driver’s license is required.
- An Associate’s degree or 3 years of relevant IT experience is essential; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT support is advantageous.
