Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a hybrid position for our client based in Richmond VA
Pay Range: $55-$60/hr on w2 without benefits. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Required Skills
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Network Industry Certification preferred Arista ACE 3 or above
- Expert working knowledge of CloudVision
- Experience with Arista (preferably) or other commercial Wi-Fi platform
- 10+ years' working experience with network technologies including network design and deployments of Campus and Data Center networks.
- Expert knowledge of leaf-spine architectures
- Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, VPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, MACsec, Multicast, QoS, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and 802.1X
- Expertise in at least one area of Data Center related technologies - Openstack, SDN, NFV, Load Balancers, Virtualization, Linux tools
- Background in Perl, Python, Scripting for creating network automation is highly desired
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written skills and desire to document network infrastructures
- Experience with working in an ITIL or similar service operational environment
