Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure & Security to join their team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams to develop and deliver services that support business goals.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of core IT systems, both on-premises and in the cloud, covering areas such as compute, storage, endpoints, and data platforms.
- Manage and enhance the company’s Cybersecurity program, tools, policies, and procedures (e.g., anti-malware, MDR/EDR, SIEM, firewalls, etc.).
- Ensure system performance monitoring and proactively address technical and reliability issues.
- Establish IT infrastructure strategies, standards, policies, and service metrics.
- Align infrastructure and security strategies with organizational goals.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and programs to detect and respond to threats.
- Oversee cybersecurity compliance, security awareness, and data privacy training.
- Manage IT and cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Maintain vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring they meet organizational needs and service level agreements.
- Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing technical expertise, accountability, and customer service.
Experience Summary:
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years in management.
- Expertise in modern hosting, computing, storage, and data delivery platforms.
- Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks (e.g., SOX, access & security, privacy) and implementing controls.
- Extensive experience with SaaS platform integration and optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Cloud products, IT budgeting, staff recruitment, and vendor management.
- Familiar with AWS well-architected framework and IT architecture, data integration, and networking infrastructure.
- Experience with managed service providers and SaaS platforms (e.g., SiteCore, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation, RPA, EDR, MDR, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Hands-on expertise in various IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity platforms.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CompTIA Security+.
