IT Support Specialist
Location: Tampa, FL (hybrid)
As an IT Support Specialist at Deepwatch, you will be a crucial force in enhancing the performance, stability, and security of our technology landscape. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining secure and standardized technology solutions. In this pivotal position, you'll drive innovation and operational excellence, shaping the future of our technology and security initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in guiding Deepwatch to new heights of success in an ever-evolving digital environment.
In this role you'll get to:
- Manage the helpdesk ticket queue, ensuring prompt resolution of user issues
- Oversee the complete employee on and offboarding process with precision and care
- Provide exceptional troubleshooting and break/fix support, delivering outstanding service
- Assist in compliance initiatives to ensure the company remains audit-ready and secure
- Provision and manage access to essential tools, ensuring seamless operations
- Configure SSO and federations to streamline user access and improve security
- Collaborate with InfoSec to modify system configurations, enhancing overall security posture
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain inventory records for efficient operations
- Deliver technical support with expert troubleshooting to quickly resolve user issues
- Identify recurring ticket trends and implement root-cause analysis to prevent future incidents
- Manage MDM solutions to maintain security and compliance across all corporate devices
- Proactively detect and respond to IT and security events, ensuring swift mitigation of risks
- Maintain SaaS compliance by addressing Shadow IT and ensuring authorized tool usage
- Deliver comprehensive IT and security training, empowering employees to reduce risks
- Assist in vulnerability management efforts to identify and mitigate threats proactively
- Maintain internal platforms for peak performance, enforcing strong security standards
- Work with industry-leading tools such as Kandji, Google Workspace, Torq, Zoom, Slack, and Okta
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Experience as a help desk, IT support technician or related user service role
- Familiarity with macOS, enterprise management, upgrades, and deployments
- Proficiency in administering Google Workspace
- Experience in asset management and inventory control
- Knowledge of SAML protocol as it applies to single sign-on
- To be detail-oriented in planning, execution, and follow-up to ensure high-quality results
- Commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior
- Be comfortable with change and able to adapt to new challenges and environments
- To be organized, collaborative, detail oriented, a good communicator with a commitment to integrity, transparency and ethical behavior
- Relevant IT and Security certifications
- A degree in IT, Security, or a related field or have equivalent work experience
ITAR Compliance
This position will have access to customer data and as such is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Upon application, candidates will be asked to confirm that they are a U.S. Person as defined by the following:

The anticipated salary range for this role is $63,000 to $75,000 + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
