Job Overview
We are in search of an accomplished Chief Information Officer (CIO) who will guide the strategic development and execution of a cutting-edge information technology (IT) framework aligned with our organizational objectives. This key leadership role is essential in maximizing return on investment and ensuring robust security measures across our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a variety of projects and initiatives within the Information Systems (IS) department, ensuring optimal operations and timely advancements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the assessment, introduction, and management of new software systems, guaranteeing alignment with our strategic goals and seamless integration across functional areas.
- Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to pinpoint areas where IT can facilitate the realization of business and fiscal goals.
- Maintain a proactive stance on emerging IS trends and technologies, anticipating necessary adaptations within the organization.
- Oversee compliance initiatives pertaining to information security to protect our data and systems.
- Ensure the IT and network infrastructure proficiently satisfies the organization's computing, data processing, and communication requirements.
- Effectively communicate departmental objectives, project timelines, and strategies to relevant stakeholders.
- Formulate comprehensive long-term IS plans and strategies for the acquisition of essential software and hardware to address evolving needs.
- Act as a crucial point of contact for end users to ascertain their IS requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Assure adherence to all applicable governmental regulations related to system operations.
- Drive the development and management of security protocols, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, to safeguard organizational information from breaches or losses.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
- Strong aptitude for conceptualizing long-term business objectives and establishing structured processes to achieve them.
- Familiarity with enterprise software solutions encompassing Sales and Scheduling tools, financial planning software, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Document Locator, and Power BI.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- A Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or information technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience managing information systems and technology, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities.
