Key Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of projects and assignments within the Information Systems (IS) department to ensure successful implementation.
- Lead initiatives to modernize and enhance IS capabilities for optimal operational efficiency.
- Act as the principal liaison for assessing, deploying, and managing innovative software systems, ensuring they align seamlessly with strategic organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify how IT can bolster business and financial aspirations.
- Anticipate emerging IS developments and technological advancements, preparing for necessary organizational adaptations.
- Oversee compliance programs related to information security to protect our systems.
- Ensure that IT and network infrastructure are equipped to fulfill the organization’s computing, data processing, and communication requirements.
- Clearly articulate departmental goals, projects, and timelines to all stakeholders, facilitating effective execution.
- Define long-term IS requirements and devise strategies for acquiring essential software and hardware solutions.
- Serve as the primary resource for end users to ascertain IS needs and solutions.
- Ensure adherence to relevant governmental regulations governing system operations.
- Oversee the establishment and management of security protocols to safeguard sensitive information against breaches or loss.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Strong capability to conceptualize long-term business objectives and develop organized processes to achieve them.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, financial planning instruments, and data analytics software (such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Document Locator, and Power BI).
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- A master's degree in business administration, computer science, or information technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience managing information systems and technology, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
