SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is looking for
Head of Technology for one of our clients located in
Salt Lake City, UT. This is a hybrid position that is based in the Salt Lake area. Reports to President.
This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire technology landscape of the company, driving innovation, setting technical strategies, and leading the IT and technology teams of over 60 employees to execute cutting-edge solutions. Position will work closely with other executive team members, including the CEO, COO, and President, to align technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and competitive advantage.

- Technology Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Product Development: Drive innovation and technology initiatives to create differentiated products and services. Collaborate with the Product team to ensure technological feasibility and timelines for product launches.
- System Architecture & Security: Oversee the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure, ensuring that systems can handle the company’s growth while remaining compliant with regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and deliver value.
- Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Manage the technology budget, optimizing investments in technology tools, resources, and infrastructure.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring business continuity and cybersecurity in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
- Tech Stack & Vendor Management: Oversee the selection and management of technology vendors and solutions to meet current and future business demands.
Here's What You Need To Have...
- Proven Experience: 15+ years progressive experience with 7+ years in leadership role, working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of current technology trends and practices, including cloud computing, big data, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and DevOps.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to translate complex technological challenges into business solutions, with a focus on growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, able to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; able to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders and customers.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and data protection strategies; experience with compliance and regulatory standards across the globe.
