The Cyber Strategy and Governance team defines Macquarie’s cybersecurity strategy and culture, controls, and staff awareness and education. Our team evaluates Macquarie’s cybersecurity posture, supporting Macquarie’s business units to understand the cybersecurity risks for their critical processes, technology and clients.

What role will you play?
In your role as the Regional Division Information Security Officer you will lead executive engagement, cyber due diligence support and business cyber strategy leadership for Macquarie’s US-based operations. You will provide cyber briefings for legal entity boards, risk and operating committees, and represents cyber to regional clients, exchanges, auditors and regulators. Additionally, you will engage in cyber and technology incidents as the regional delegate for Macquarie’s Global Chief Information Security Officer.
What You Offer
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including but not limited to, identity and access management, application security, incident response, and risk management
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize cybersecurity risks, and to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive management and non-technical staff
- Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments, external partners, and stakeholders, and to work effectively in a team environment across locations and timezones
- Ability to lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, including setting goals, delegating tasks, and motivating team members .
