Luvata Ohio is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the operation of Luvata Ohio’s computers, networks and applications in 2 mid-sized manufacturing facilities located in Delaware, Ohio.
Job duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft server and PC hardware and software
- Install, configure, and maintain network switches, cabling and other networking equipment
- Diagnose and perform equipment repairs and upgrades
- Monitor backup of network data, and periodically restore files and folders
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- In conjunction with Luvata security policies, enforce policies, procedures, and standards regarding use of the organization's computer and information assets
- Manage VoIP phones and cloud applications
- Configure and manage multifunction devices, laser and thermal printers
- Collaborate with and oversee IT vendors
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot iOS and Android mobile devices
- Document IT systems and trouble tickets
- Provide technical support to end users concerning system operations
- Collaborate with other IT personnel in the Luvata group
Experience desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field with 3-5 years of experience
- Microsoft server and PC hardware and operating systems
- Network hardware configuration and support
- WiFi and cellular wireless device configuration and support
- Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and other common application software
- Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure/Entra
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft D365 ERP systems is seen as a benefit
- Virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi and vSphere
- VoIP technologies
- IT security best practices
- Proven track record on developing IT environment and positive development mindset
- Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment
- Ability to communicate information to end users, colleagues, and senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with local and international IT team members.
Job Type: Full-time, onsite (WFH negotiable), office/manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
- Occasional on-call support as required
