Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Provider Engagement Specialist to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers in support of our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) participants. The role involves fostering communication and collaboration with physicians and specialists, ensuring seamless coordination of care for participants. This position also focuses on improving provider engagement through training, outreach, and supporting the growth of our healthcare network.
This is a full-time, hybrid position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and requires occasional local travel.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Salary range: $90,000.00 per year
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider network relations, community healthcare relations, or related areas
- At least 2 years of healthcare experience
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, a clean driving record, and auto insurance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and experience in supporting provider relationships in a healthcare setting
- Experience in PACE or similar healthcare programs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with primary care physicians, specialists, and healthcare providers within the network to support PACE participants
- Lead meetings, outreach events, and training sessions to ensure provider engagement and up-to-date knowledge of the PACE program offerings and expectations
- Collaborate closely with clinical, administrative, and operations teams to improve provider participation and care coordination
- Act as a key resource for providers, addressing their questions, resolving concerns, and fostering clear communication with the PACE interdisciplinary team
- Monitor provider performance metrics and work with the quality team to identify areas for improvement
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and best practices, ensuring the team adapts as needed
- Assist in resolving provider-related challenges while maintaining strong relationships
- Contribute to strategies for expanding the provider network and recruiting new healthcare partners
