Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cyber Analyst in Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect IT systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and attacks
- Advanced Threat and Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct advanced threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks
- Security Architecture and Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to design, develop, and maintain security architectures and solutions that align with organizational needs and industry best practices
- Incident Response: Develop and manage incident response plans to effectively address and resolve cybersecurity incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring timely recovery
- Compliance and Audits: Lead compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
- Security Awareness Training: Lead and develop security awareness training programs to educate employees and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles, with a strong background in leading cybersecurity initiatives for large-scale IT environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
