A10 Networks is seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Sr Manager, Inside Sales to lead our newly developed Inside Sales organization for the Americas region.
Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, this role is instrumental in owning and driving regional sales growth by overseeing and mentoring a team responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas. It requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing and developing high performing Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You will also collaborate closely with various internal teams (Regional Fields Sales, Channel Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations) and external partners to execute impactful sales campaigns.
The variable compensation includes both individual and team objectives. To be an effective leader, effort must result in a high volume of qualified leads that retire quota across a given sales region.
Responsibilities
- Quota Management: Own and drive [$#M] in regional sales quota for the North Americas Service Provider Market
- Pipeline Development: Develop and execute strategies to build and enhance the sales pipeline, leveraging both marketing generated leads and direct outreach
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a team of intermediate to senior level ISRs and SDRs, fostering a high-performance culture
- Sales Campaigns: Coordinate and execute regular regional sales campaigns in collaboration with Field Sales, Channel Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations; collaborate with channel partners and process Deal Registrations
- Customer Engagement: Articulate A10 Networks value proposition maintaining deep knowledge of A10 products and solutions and the competitive landscape
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
- Quarterly Reviews: Own and drive Quarterly Business Reviews to assess team performance and strategy effectiveness
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance metrics including sales bookings quota, pipeline development, individual and team qualified new opportunities generated, new meetings set with customers, lead conversions, and productivity metrics
Requirements
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, with a minimum of eight years in Inside Sales, and at least five years in a leadership role
- Leadership Skills: Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, which a focus on achieving sales goals
- Sales Expertise: Proven sales skills to influence customer decisions and drive results
- Analytical Skills: Strong affinity with data and a process-outcomes driven approach to team development and performance management
- Communication: Excellent formal presentation and communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with stakeholders
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technology sales scenarios and build trust with customers
- Understanding of networking and security technology preferred
