Location: Dimondale, MI (Hybrid: 2 days a week in Lansing)
Overview:We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect to join our team on a multi-year project. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure, focusing on building reusable modules for streamlined deployment. This role is critical for maintaining and updating these modules to ensure full deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Build.
- Create and manage modules to facilitate reusable code for deployments, including support for VM and containerized applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud application architectures and operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with NIST standards and enforce security policies, including TLS inspection.
- Provide troubleshooting support and maintain high-level networking and operating system management.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure services and technologies, including:
- Azure Front Door
- Azure Build
- Terraform for deployment
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and database management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Azure Network Firewall
- Strong connections with Microsoft and experience leveraging Microsoft support.
- Background in troubleshooting and security best practices.
Team Structure:You will be part of a dedicated Azure-focused team, collaborating with 3-4 engineers and support staff, under the guidance of a lead architect. This role also involves partnership with teams utilizing AWS and GCP, ensuring a cohesive cloud strategy.
