Key Responsibilities:
- Deploying cloud-native applications.
- Managing virtual machines, storage accounts, and network resources.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Azure Resource Manager and Azure DevOps.
- Ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud solutions.
- Implementing security best practices and disaster recovery strategies.
- Solid understanding of Information Security, IT Security Operations & Engineering, Security and networking concepts
- Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, network security infrastructure such as web application firewalls.
- Infrastructure Enterprise Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Environment (On-Prem and Azure cloud)
- Strong hands-on experience with Server management, Storage, Windows Infrastructure, and Networking
- Regular support of Microsoft Windows environment, by identifying and implementing solutions to operational issues
- 5+ years of experience in a systems administration role is required
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products to support VDI and desktop users such as Windows 10, Active Directory/Entra, Microsoft 365, ADFS, Azure-AD, GPO Policies, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows servers, including OS upgrades and system maintenance & support.
- Configures, Administers, Troubleshoots, and Manages Company wide issues
- Applicable certification (Azure, Exchange, etc.) preferred.
- Strong Documentation and Visio Diagram experience is preferred
- Ability to support On-Premise environment as well as remote users
- Contribute to upskilling level 1 and level 2 systems operations support teams
- Provide documentation and training for additions or changes to our environment.
- Assist as escalation level support and Support Team Initiatives
- Maintain current knowledge of current and emerging technologies, regularly analyzing and evaluating their impact and benefit to the Firm.
- Provide lead as well as backup support for other members of the infrastructure team (we partner with a vendor MSP)
- Assist in other infrastructure-related administrative tasks within IT related to such things as, security incident response or application backend architecture.
- Manage AD/Messaging/server-related trouble tickets utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Communicate proactively, openly, and clearly.
- Perform other departmental duties, as necessary.
- Support initiatives and special projects with other teams, as required.
