Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, presenting, and overseeing the implementation of solutions for storage, compute, and virtualization. You will also be responsible for designing, presenting, and implementing data protection (backup and recovery) solutions to protect against human mistakes, equipment loss, catastrophic site failures (disasters), and ransomware. Additionally, you will consult with customers to gather requirements, size and architect solutions from end-to-end, and develop business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
Responsibilities:
- Design, present, and oversee the implementation of solutions for storage, compute, and virtualization
- Design, present, and implement data protection (backup and recovery) solutions to protect against human mistakes, equipment loss, catastrophic site failures (disasters), and ransomware
- Work with customers to develop business continuity plans and architect disaster recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss
- Consult with customers to gather requirements, size and architect solutions from end-to-end
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions and services
- Take an end-to-end approach to solution design, considering all aspects of the solution from initial consultation to final implementation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as a solutions architect or engineer
- Strong understanding of storage, compute, and virtualization technologies
- Experience designing and implementing data protection (backup and recovery) solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 25% for mostly in-state deployments and critical meetings
