Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of highly available and scalable infrastructure as code within distributed cloud and on-premises data centers.
- Implement and maintain distributed databases and message queue technologies, including Kafka, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Automate CI/CD processes to facilitate seamless deployments in diverse environments.
- Execute zero-downtime strategies for blue-green deployments.
- Ensure continuous authority for fielding CI/CD pipeline technologies to optimize application deployment.
- Utilize leading tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Helm charts for infrastructure provisioning and minimizing downtime.
- Establish health and status monitoring capabilities across distributed landscapes.
- Enhance networking solutions through VPNs, VPC peering, and service mesh technologies.
- Guarantee compliance with data dissemination standards for distributed systems.
- Apply best practices for security and encryption within scaled distributed systems.
- Implement chaos engineering practices to bolster fault tolerance.
- Leverage modular container orchestration across various environments.
- Deploy air gap technologies at multiple impact levels.
- Facilitate automated cross-domain solutions to ensure continuous software deployment.
- Promote collaboration across teams, provide mentorship, and offer senior-level guidance in software application design.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, including Python, Java, Bash, and Go.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure configuration management and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
- Strong expertise in Linux administration (RedHat and CentOS), microservices, and distributed cloud deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Active Top Secret/SCI DoD Security Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Software Engineering, or related areas.
