Insight Global is seeking a Security Engineer for one of our clients who specializes in the manufacturing and delivery of high-tech food service equipment. Their focus is on delivering an extraordinary customer experience through innovative technologies which, simplify and improve the parts research and purchasing process. This role will be fully remote and will work EST hours.
As the Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment and administration of Microsoft security solutions, including Microsoft 365 Defender (for cloud, for endpoint and for identity) Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Information Protection. You will also support and perform hands-on security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection for cloud environments. You will also need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage security policies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and manage and configure Azure Active Directory, with a focus on Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Azure Information Protection (AzIP), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Additional Responsibilities will include but not limit:
- Troubleshoot complex security and integration issues related to Microsoft technologies, performing test plans and debugging as necessary
- Provide security assessments and recommendations for cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks
- Produce technical documentation, present findings, and conduct security workshops or demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on Microsoft security products and solutions, adapting quickly to new features and changes
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 4 years of experience as a Microsoft Security Engineer
- Experience with Microsoft Defender
- Defender for cloud
- Defender for endpoint
- Defender for identity
- Experience with Sentinel
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Experience with cloud adoption or cloud migration
- Microsoft Security Certification
Compensation:
$50/hr to $57/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
