Job Summary:
Thinking Minds' client is seeking a
Senior Manager - IT Finance Systems (SAP FICO) to oversee the design, development, and governance of their financial systems, focusing on SAP S/4 HANA and related finance modules. This role is essential in managing IT project deliverables, leading cross-functional initiatives, and providing thought leadership in finance technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and configuration of SAP S/4 HANA FI and CO modules, covering General Ledger, AP/AR, Profit Center Accounting, Treasury, and Product Costing.
- Develop new financial processes, including roadmaps for system migration and upgrades to SAP S/4 HANA.
- Oversee the implementation lifecycle from solution design to post-implementation support, ensuring seamless finance integration across departments.
- Support finance departments (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury) with system improvements and process automation.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks with external software providers and ensure robust system governance.
- Manage relationships with finance clients and stakeholders, ensuring IT deliverables align with business needs.
- Provide strategic leadership on finance technology trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience with SAP FI/CO modules, including configurations in GL, AP, AR, Treasury, and intercompany processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC RTR processes and post-go-live support.
- Deep understanding of financial integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or manufacturing industry.
- SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience.
- Supervisory experience in a similar capacity.
- SAP certifications.
