Position: Security Development Leader
Location: Austin TX
Job Summary:
Responsible for leading and participating in multiple product and project initiatives
Accountable for the planning, organization, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead and participate in multiple, complex project initiatives related to overall development of the platform, including: planning and development of new products, development of technology stack, improvement of the operational infrastructure and evaluation and execution of regulatory, compliance and supervision related efforts and projects.
Analyze business and user needs, document and improve business requirements, and lead design, development, validation and implementation of appropriate technology solutions.
Have knowledge of Compliance and utilize those to correct noncompliance.
Assists with training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements and improvements
Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities
Work closely with the product teams and identify gaps in the product and developer experience that slows down customer adoption and get it addressed by the right product teams
Collect and analyze information, interviews subject matter experts (SMEs), observe operations and use knowledge of business systems and processes to develop solutions to specific problems.
Develop and maintain project schedule, prioritizes project tasks and collaborate with other business units.
Represent stakeholders on project teams and solves problems with large, complex cross-functional systems and processes.
Assist in planning and implementing change management initiatives.
Liaising with external audit firms for obtaining & retaining certifications
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Highly advanced knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures used in the information security
Advanced Knowledge of Audits and compliance
Experience in working with Third Party Vendors/Auditors for audits like SOX
Up-to-date Knowledge of Business technology, compliance models and IT
Sound Understanding of Regulatory Guidelines and Security Policies
