Title: Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer
Duration: 2 Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Contract to Hire)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Compensation: $70.00 Per Hour W2
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, aligning with business objectives.
• Develop and execute multi-cloud strategy with a focus on high availability, security, and performance optimization.
• Oversee automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to ensure efficiency in cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Ensure cloud security and compliance with a robust cloud security framework, perform regular audits, and collaborate with security teams.
• Optimize cloud resource management and cost, monitoring performance and reducing operational expenses.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead incident management for cloud-related issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced Azure certifications highly preferred.
• 7-10+ years in cloud engineering and IT infrastructure with hands-on Azure experience.
• Proven track record in cloud architecture and implementation, focusing on security, automation, and cost management.
• Expertise in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with commitment to mentorship and team development.
