Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Fortinet Network Engineer to join their team! This individual will be a key player in assisting with Fortinet deployments, troubleshooting, and support across multiple sites. Our client is seeking a Fortinet Subject Matter Expert who can lead deployments, manage configurations, and provide recommendations based on experience across various Fortinet products. This role is ideal for an independent professional with a solid networking background and hands-on experience who can help assess, implement, and refine their Fortinet systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and configuration of Fortinet solutions, including FortiNet, FortiAP, FortiSwitch, and FortiManager, across multiple locations.
- Provide support for Fortinet devices across approximately 70 locations, handling issues independently before vendor escalation.
- Offer insights and recommendations on Fortinet solutions and configurations based on hands-on deployment experience.
- Conduct network assessments and contribute to planning network upgrades, solutions, and optimizations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure vendor alignment with organizational network standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience with Fortinet solutions and hands-on support, including deployments and troubleshooting.
- Background in networking with 4-5 years of experience, including knowledge of hub-and-spoke networks.
- Experience supporting multiple locations (10+ sites minimum) with Fortinet being with at least one.
- Ability to lead deployment projects and handle network upgrades effectively.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are highly preferred.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with FortiGate in Azure or ASR integration.
- Project management experience, particularly with deployments and hardware refresh projects.
- Knowledge of additional networking technologies, such as Juniper or Palo Alto.

Other Information:
- This role requires domestic travel of approximately 10-15%.
- Hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite per week (onsite requirements may vary, with reasonable accommodations considered as per ADA). For the first month you will be required to be onsite 3 days a week.
- Background check and drug testing required.
- Interview process includes first round and second round onsite.
