What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage the client's Communications Security (COMSEC) program to ensure compliance with Department of State guidelines
- Handle requests for cryptographic services, equipment, and materials for all client offices
- Control and issue electronic keys, secure telephone equipment, and perform firmware and software updates
- Conduct daily inventory inspections and semi-annual COMSEC inventories, reporting to CSB
- Serve as a liaison for complex cyber issues, utilizing strong communication skills
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- MS/BS degree in a related field
- Top Secret clearance and willingness to work onsite
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Security or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of COMSEC protocols and procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills with cryptographic devices and systems
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Relevant certifications such as Security+ or CISSP
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
