We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Technical Project Manager who excels in steering teams and overseeing significant projects. In this remote role, you will be pivotal in directing the overall strategy, coordination, execution, and conclusion of designated projects, ensuring that all client requirements are met and expectations surpassed. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud-based software projects, micro-services, and DevSecOps initiatives within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Lead cross-functional teams while effectively managing client relationships.
- Develop project charters, management plans, and baselines to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor change requests, assess project performance, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and risks.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum events, collaborate with product owners, and produce necessary Scrum artifacts.
- Assemble and coordinate project personnel in a matrixed structure, working closely with business analysts and technical writers to define business requirements.
- Track, control, and report on project progress using suitable tools to ensure project scope is achieved.
- Manage integrated change control by evaluating and processing changes, updating project management plans as necessary.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and lessons learned activities to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure thorough project closure, including confirmation of scope satisfaction and formal acceptance of deliverables.
Required Skills
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Kanban.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for cross-cultural and customer communication.
- Expertise in developing project management artifacts, including project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Knowledge of process improvement through Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
- Strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of business and resource management in a matrix organization.
- Minimum of three years of experience defining cloud migration project objectives that are in line with enterprise cloud initiatives.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise IT projects and cloud technologies, including AWS and Microsoft Azure, in a multi-tenant environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience collaborating directly with government agencies, managing competing priorities while leading multidisciplinary teams.
