Title: Senior Network Engineer - Lead

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 DOE
Position Summary
Midnight Sun is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer - Lead in Washington, DC. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Capture, propose, and recommend United States Mint requirements and policies for Data Network Services Supervisory responsibilities.
- Define Data Network Services requirements, baseline configurations, and policies.
- Recommend Data Network requirements based on industry best practices.
- Develop procedures and a logical design/architecture plan to meet Network requirements, priorities, budget, growth, and performance Engineer, install, operate, maintain, replace, and manage the Data Network equipment specified herein, or as updated or replaced by the Contractor or the United States Mint.
- Maintain additional equipment upon the request of an authorized United States Mint representative, through the CR process, as appropriate.
- Manage and maintain the circuits for all United States Mint facilities, in support of United States Mint Designated Agency Representatives (DARs).
- Manage and monitor connectivity between all Data Network Services locations.
- Maintain the communications service lines and circuits to meet the SLA availability targets.
- Provide Network diagrams and keep Network diagrams up to date.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Information Systems or related field.
- 15 years of relevant field experience.
- Required prior to onboarding:
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Networking Professional)
- ITIL 4+ Foundation Certification
- Practical skills, experience and training, leading design, configuration, upgrade, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching of data network hardware and software including but not limited to Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Thousand Eyes, DNAC (Cisco DNA Center), Stealthwatch (Cisco Secure Analytics), Identity Service Engine (ISE).
