Position Overview
Riverside Research seeks a personable and highly technical individual to fill the role of Systems Administrator, capable of providing information technology support to groups performing cutting-edge research supporting national security interests. In this mid-level position, a successful candidate will leverage experience providing end-user support, but will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, operation, and support of general IT systems in several distributed classified computing environments.
This position is located in our Lexington, MA office. A secret clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to Windows and Linux based operating systems across Riverside Research's infrastructure that includes investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
- Capability to troubleshoot complex information technology problems using all available resources
- Develop new and maintain existing installation and configuration procedures
- Apply operating system security updates
- Remediate monthly compliance scans
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
- Coordinate all significant information technology changes with the appropriate parties such as management, infrastructure, and information security
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a systems administrator
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Experience across traditional IT stack (Clients, Networking, Servers, Storage)
- Experience upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
- Able to obtain Security+ or relevant certification (within 180-days of employment)
- Secret clearance required.

$72,800- $120,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
