Job Summary/Company: Join our dynamic team of Engineers as a Sr. Systems Administrator, providing robust virtualization, storage, and network support for a prominent museum. This onsite role in Washington, DC, involves maintaining server availability, configuring new implementations, and managing key IT services to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure availability and functionality of client/server applications, configure new implementations, and manage server environment processes.
- Oversee and maintain physical and virtual servers, storage, backup solutions, and cloud/web services, coordinating with providers as needed.
- Actively participate in change control board meetings, respond to escalated Tier 3 support tickets, and perform routine system checks and maintenance.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in server environment administration, with a focus on 24x7x365 operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of VPC environments, AWS, VMware tools, Windows OS, Redhat, and relevant storage/backup technologies.
- Position requires ship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance;

Pay Range: Salary $117,500.00 to $128,000.00
