Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to find a Senior Systems Administrator. As the Sr Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the storage infrastructure to ensure the reliability of the production systems. Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level support for Microsoft Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Contribute to disaster recovery/business continuity (DR/BCP) validation testing for system uptime.
- Maintain a secure and stable IT infrastructure by adhering to established change control, security, and risk management standards.
- Streamline server management through automation of upgrades (hardware, OS, drivers, patches) and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, PCI, FFIEC) through documentation and security implementation.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science is required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a distributed Windows Server environment
- Experience with VMWare virtualization technologies
- Experience with Managing Windows components (Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Microsoft clustering)
- Experience with maintaining AWS cloud technologies in an hybrid environment
- Experience with Dell backup technologies
- Experience administering, and troubleshooting software and hardware in large, mission critical, 24x7 production environments, preferably banking or similar financial institutions
