The Vice President of Fitness is a key role in supporting Gold’s Mission, Vision, and Values to create the best possible fitness experience for all our members and team members. In this role, you will have full accountability for fitness (personal training and group exercise), sales and systems, service offerings, as well as executing education and training programs nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitness Visionary: Develop and execute forward-thinking fitness strategies to elevate growth plans (in conjunction with corporate initiatives). Analyze low and high performing clubs, develop and execute action plans.
- Leadership Dynamo: Lead a team of passionate fitness professionals, trainers, and group fitness gurus, fostering a culture of enthusiasm, creativity, and continuous improvement. Ensure gyms have adequate support and company compliance.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze the performance of personal training and group fitness being delivered to members. Assist in recruiting, coaching and developing Fitness Managers.
- Community Builder: Cultivate an enthusiastic community of fitness, provide feedback on marketing objectives and Personal Training/Group Exercise offerings associated with member retention in conjunction with national objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior fitness leadership role, with a track record of innovative program development and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of fitness trends, personal training, and group exercise.
- Experience in developing and implementing training, curriculum and educational tools.
- Must have National Certifications and specialties.
- Must have multi-unit management experience.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills, with ability to inspire and lead teams.
- Creative thinking with a strategic mindset and ability to execute big ideas.
