How you'll make an impact:
As a Consultant within the Advisory Services, Decision Support team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the system design, implementation testing, and adoption of the Decision Support suite of our software, StrataJazz®. Rated #1 in KLAS, StrataJazz® Decision Support is recognized as the "gold standard" for delivering insights into costs and margins across the healthcare industry.
You will partner directly with and guide key team members and executive stakeholders at some of the largest health systems. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Participate in and contribute to multiple projects by providing advisory services that focuses on design, testing, and adoption of the StrataJazz® Decision Support modules, such as Cost Accounting, Service Line Margin Analytics, and Downstream Reporting and Analytics.
- In collaboration with the senior project team members, lead customers through the process of identifying their unique business needs, aligning them to best practice standards, and translating them into the design of configuration requirements to be implemented into StrataJazz®.
- With the support of senior project team members, analyze and interpret customer specific source data to identify key decision points that will shape the design and adoption of the customer's Decision Support model.
- Contribute to the success of project calls including design weekly working sessions, and customer stakeholder sessions to facilitate adoption and engagement by capturing downstream needs and use cases.
- Communicate proactively with senior project team members, cross functional project team members, and project managers on potential issues and risks that may arise during the project life cycle.
- Actively support operational improvement by contributing to documentation, standardization, and project delivery improvement efforts within the Advisory Services team.
What we're looking for:
- Interest in, or experience with, healthcare finance and/or healthcare consulting.
- Exposure to guiding customers through complex projects, with a focus on delivering value-add services while adhering to timelines and scope.
- Ability to assist in guiding customers through detailed project phases, ensuring the achievement of key outcomes and the successful adoption of SaaS solutions like StrataJazz®.
- Strong ability to present data analysis and findings in a clear, concise manner across different levels of an organization, including executives and end-users.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF Statements to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Willingness to travel within the US up to 30% (when it is safe to do so.).
- You'd really wow us if you have:
- Experience in healthcare consulting directly related to decision support, cost accounting, decision support analytics, and/or experience within a health system decision support team.
- Experience designing, implementing, or configuring software for Decision Support models.
- Experience working with SQL or understanding relational database concepts for extracting and analyzing data.
