Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced **Senior Security Analyst** to join our team in Fountain Valley on a full-time onsite role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, a keen understanding of current security threats, and the ability to communicate effectively in both **English and Korean**. This role will be pivotal in protecting our organization’s assets and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Threat Detection & Response:** Monitor and analyze security events, assess vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents in real-time.
- **Risk Assessment:** Perform security risk assessments and create reports on potential vulnerabilities, recommending corrective measures to mitigate risks.
- **Incident Management:** Lead incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery, while documenting findings.
- **Security Operations:** Manage and maintain security tools, systems, and processes, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with industry standards.
- **Compliance & Audit Support:** Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including regular audits and reviews.
- **Reporting & Documentation:** Develop comprehensive security reports, documentation, and metrics to track improvements and vulnerabilities.
- **Team Leadership:** Mentor junior analysts, support their growth, and foster a collaborative environment.
- **Language Proficiency:** Utilize Korean language skills to communicate with stakeholders, interpret regulatory documents, and coordinate with external vendors and partners.
Qualifications:
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience:** 5+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security analyst or similar role.
- **Certifications:** Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence tools, vulnerability management, and risk assessment methodologies.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Fluent in **Korean** and **English** with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations calmly.
- **Other Requirements:** Available for onsite work and able to participate in rotating on-call support if necessary.
