Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 + 30% Bonus + 30% Equity

Position: IT Manager – Information Security
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled
IT Manager – Information Security to join their team! This critical role offers an opportunity to develop and lead a robust security program designed to protect corporate assets, data, and operations. Working closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams, the IT Manager will play a pivotal role in securing both IT and operational technology systems. With exciting projects on the horizon, including onboarding a Managed Security Operations Center and implementing managed vulnerability services, this position provides the chance to make a significant impact from the ground up. Relocation support is available, making this a prime opportunity for a security leader with a background in oil and gas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a cybersecurity roadmap and security program to protect information assets and operational technology.
- Support and secure cloud applications by ensuring best practices in cybersecurity and cloud posture management.
- Oversee vendor and third-party security assessments, incident response, and development of an identity and access management (IAM) program.
- Manage relationships with external SOC providers, conduct incident response drills, and continuously enhance security policies.
- Lead the preparation of security audit materials and collaborate with auditors on IT SOX compliance and testing.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in information security, including 7+ years in a technical leadership role.
- 5+ years in the oil and gas industry, with hands-on experience in IT security posturing, network architecture, and segmentation.
- Experience building IAM programs, conducting cybersecurity assessments, and managing external SOC providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of SCADA cybersecurity for field assets, particularly in oil production.
- Familiarity with the Purdue Model and cloud posture management (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience aligning security programs with NIST CSF framework and similar standards.
